The meter movement seems in decent condition, there is a 2% discrepancy between horizontal and vertical case placement, factory spec is 1%, so it is still reasonably well balanced after all these years and it seems to be quite accurate on AC voltage and resistance (I've measured the mains and a few resistors). No box, case or anything and the leads pictured are from my Model 7X. It really is in phenomenal condition with no obvious signs of use or abuse, the factory case seal is still in place, no scratches, cracks or dings anywhere and all lettering pristine, all screw-heads clean and sharp.

I actually have four of the things at the moment, a 1951 Model 7X that is cosmetically nice but under-reads by about 20% on all readings (I think I know how to fix this.) but needs a battery mod for resistance, a couple of the ugly plastic '70s Mk8 MkVs which I've made one working one out of and the other would be a great source of spares as the meter is perfect (I'll probably sell these on shortly as I have little love or use for them), and as of today a lovely and allegedly NOS 1964 Model 8 MkII: I'm on a quest to get a fully working one.

I love these things, they are just so beautifully and expensively made and wonderfuly styled.
